Hi,
I’m a parent with a 12 yr old boy with PDD-NOS and ADHD. I signed up here about a year ago, but haven’t been on much.
I wanted to check in and just say ”yep. still here!”

I’d like to know how my first entry got deleted here. I did not delete it.
I wanted to write a part II to my story!
If it was on your site, they were disabled. Sorry, we had to remove the user sites due to security concerned and me not having the time to teach people to publish to their own websites.
Do you have a copy of the work backed up? If not, I can possibly recover it.
Ron
No, I don’t have a copy as I thought (silly me) that this site would allow it to be available.
What’s going on with this site – I think it’s a good idea, but am concerned about making future contributions.
Hey C.,
Couple things:
1. Im not sure what you mean by ”What’s going on with this site”
2. I explained that user website as you setup in Dec 2010 as a member feature have been discontinued due to security concerns and myself not having the time to effectively train members on how to use them and maintain the technology to due so.
3. I have reactivated your old website so we can recover the article.

4. We now have a Chief Editor Sarah. All member contributions are now published to our main Disability News Blog.
http://ilivewithadisability.com/disability-current-news/
5. Our contributors can coordinate with Sarah and I at:
http://ilivewithadisability.com/ilwad-contributing-writers/
6. Sarah and I are in the process off reworking the submission process of articles into a more streamlined process and online system in the near future.
On top of all that, please do understand that there is no office for ILWAD, no team with salaries that run this site. We are all volunteers and I do my best with what time I have devoted to this project daily to make it the best possible.
ILWAD has gone through massive changes since we launched it, and always will – the nature of technology and website development.
I appreciate your understanding. If you would like to put this article ”anew” into the new Disability News Blog, I would be happy to pull it from the site, and get it into the editing and proofreading process with the others..
Do let me know..
Ron

You know, you would think that someone who writes for a living could find something to blog about easily. No, it’s not that easy. After all, this is my first blog on this site, and I want to make a good impression. So why am I here? I thought it would be good therapy, perhaps find [...]
