Dear Mother,
You are and always will be my reason for life
Then, now and always with ”memories” forever
The only thing never to be taken from me
” Your Love was like sand making a pearl”
Your being that sand and ”The Pearl”
And the love you as a mother gave was beyond the call
Each grain of sand you instilled in us, rightfully
without forethought other than from your heart
knowing right from wrong, what you wanted
from your experiences in life and acceptable as your children
with each grain throughout the years created our love
Creativity, courage, manners and respect , with idenity never
questoned or denied.
you sacrificed so much to give us all you had within
better you thought than you had, which was not the best
with each grain of sand you keep us warm
clean, food, shelter and undivided love
Your inspiration has made me the proudest son
anyone could ever have and with thoughts of never
forgetting who gave me so much, where I came from
and the grains you instilled in me forever
The education priceless, my pearl my teacher, but first

I am so blessed this Mothers day to be here, memories
intact, surface within me daily to be precise
The pearl that made with all the grains of sand within your being
YOU are that pearl among the departed , the pearl of the
skies, moon, stars and family.
Mom I will forever love you for all those tons of sand grains you shared
being a pearl and unselfishly thought of us first

My mother is in heaven since 1990 , but I will send it to her via incased in the vase of flowers I will take to her Eternal Resting place, as I do every year, never forgetting her great impact and inspiration she had on my life then and now still instilled in me today never forgetting her.:)
She truly was my existence as I am today, with love, compassion, caring and concern for all equally

Danny great work your doing know you always appreciated greatly.
Working with and teaching ”life skills” classes as a volunteer on the subject is so very rewarding in every aspect of life, the simple things and what is not within the reach of possibilities, but then possibilities do change to ABILITIES when another route is made along the hard winding process

I want to thank you for the kind words you used in your poem (cuz it’s YOUR poem, rite? the creative mind at work again!)
I really like it and appreciate every word of it.
You know, I must really thank you Jym, for having suggested this site to me. I’ve found very, very nice people here, people I can communicate with, men and women with burdens and pains even if these burdens and pains show in different ways than mine. So far, I’ve been accepted, with my many, many problems and flaws, with my mood disorder, my difficult character. I’m no easy person and I can’t stand ignorance or stupidity. So far I haven’t found either or around here, and as Brad clearly put it, we all here see the world with our special eyes, which again makes us very, very special people. More or less fortunate people? Difficult to say; I for one tend to consider myself less fortunate during my down moments while definitely much more fortunate than others during my good mood swings. The problem with me is that my mood swings too often, too much up or down……………hehehehe
Never mind me, I’m on a new med that supposedly is going to fix all that !!Take care Jym, talk to you soon! Tessa

Today, a silent war is being waged against Americans with disabilities. States like Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, California, and Texas have all cut funding to vital programs around healthcare, employment, transportation, and education for people with disabilities. These cuts represent a dismantling of America’s commitment to our community.
In our schools, students with disabilities are battling to get the education that is their right. Bullying, which affects the overwhelming majority of these kids, is a public and dangerous opponent. . Don’t take my word for it – it’s fact.
Like the brave and courageous kids spreading this message: People with disabilities are inherently powerful and have the right to self-determination. They are not going to be bullied and are going to join together to make work, health, education, and opportunity accessible to our entire community.
In 2012, we will reinforce that our community is more powerful and influential than ever before, and we will do it together.
Thank you for the strength and determination you put into the long fight for equality day in and day out.
So put your best foot forward and speak out , up and never allow any State to degrade, get rid of beneficial benefits without a fight of their political Careers.
