Hey everyone! I haven’t been on in awhile. Been feeling really down. Found out I have another medical condition on top of what I already have. Also been going through testing for another possible two conditions. So haven’t felt like signing on or doing much of anything. I hope all of you are doing well. Be back on as soon as possible. Be safe and stay strong.

Yesterday I converted my page into a facebook group and changed the title to Voices That Shine. It remains the same message to empower, raise awareness and support individuals with developmental and intelluctual disabilities.

Been feeling ill lately. Usually I do’t allow my illness to interfere. But lately it is winning the fight. Been so difficult to accomphlish most everything. I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things

and remember you are loved.
Hey great to hear your getting slowly but surely back into the
Swing of things and your on the winning side, way to go !But with all things there are the good bad and ugly, but with
determination , perseverance and the strength that one forges
within we do make it waking to each day a bit brighter than the
day before Thus have a great TGIF and week-end…..

Unfortunestely no one has commented or shared their experiences. I will continue to encourage them to do so. In order to get it going it’s essential they begin to comment. So together we can empower and support one another.
Congrats, some marketing insight for you. You can expect 1-3% only of your user base being active. So, keep it up and dont get discouraged. More interaction will come with the rule of #s! Most importantly, a great cause and message!

Hello,I’m feeling discouraged. I recently created two facebook pages one I posted on here. There is no activity or new fans. It’s discouraging. I created we Are Their Voice to try and make a difference. But so far has made no difference at all. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Ohhh is it finally on facebook?! I will have a check and join. I am sorry to hear you are discouraged but these things take time. All good things do which makes them even more precious
I will go on and check it out and see if I can gather some supporters for you by letting other FB sites I know of with similar causes. You can try that aswell – just be bold and believe in your dream and don’t take no for an answer oxox Let us know how u go
You should not be discouraged at all. I know you are new to this, but as a marketing guy, facebook or the internet is NOT the magic weapon, this stuff does not happen with a flip of a switch unfortunately. We now have a team with us working daily across multi-media to spread the word, literally, all over the place. And yes, it is slow going. Just like opening a business in a real location, good old fashion elbow greese will get you results. Stay positive, this site has been up for almost six months we we developed and tested. Only the last couple weeks now have start to pick up just a little bit. : ) @ronbercume

Thanks, if it makes you feel any better on top of that, I have a good half dozen facebook pages that are dead in the water. I have seen your page, the conversations you are a creating. You are right where you are supposed to be, it wont happen if you do not work at it, if you do as you are, over time it will build momentum. We are in the same boat with this community and site. We will grow together, stick with us! XOXOXO
